We Build Road Wheels Too
Mountain wheels are most of what rolls through the shop, but they are not all we build. Road, gravel and commuter wheelsets get exactly the same hand-built treatment.

What's the cost?
Labour starts at $120 for a standard hub, spoke, and rim build. Extra services like tubeless setup, tire inserts, and wheel teardown are quoted separately. Buy your components through Nomadic Mechanic and you get 50 percent off the labour. You always receive a full quote before any work begins.

Most builds are completed within one to two weeks, depending on parts availability. We will give you a clear timeline when you place your order.
Can I use my existing hubs or rims?
Yes. If your hub still runs true, we can rebuild your wheel using the parts you already own. Bring them by the shop and we will take a look.
